TNT magazine is an excellent way to find last minute inexpensive labour in London. We put two free adverts in the 'general work' category yesterday and we've had lots of replies today. TNT is well known and read by primarily Australian, New Zealand and South African backpackers visiting London: just the people who have the time, flexibility and need for money to pay their living costs, extend their stay or get their last ticket home.
